Maryland Moving Companies Satisfying Results

Who knew there were so many Maryland moving companies! It is crazy and I hate moving! Doesn't everyone? Well, as much as I hate it, I had to do it and the first place I started was by looking up a moving company. I figured it would be easy, just let the moving company do all of the work. Little did I know that there were literally thousands of Maryland moving companies and I had no idea how to choose one.

I didn't want to just pick one out of the phone book so I figured I would have to do a little research. I started by first doing an Internet search of all of the companies but boy was that overwhelming! Just too many to pick from! So, then I asked friends, coworkers and family members about their moving experiences and from there I compiled a list of companies to check out.

I looked up the companies on-line and then searched the Better Business Bureau to see if they had any complaints and was able to narrow down my list. I then contacted the companies that did not have any negative information reported on the Better Business Site and requested quotes.

The quotes were all pretty reasonable and very close to each other so I had to go with my gut feeling on which one I would be happy with. When the day came for moving, I had pretty much gotten everything ready and the company would help me finish up and pack up the truck.

I was delighted with the workers! They were helpful and friendly and it took much less time than I anticipated! Which I am told is unheard of! All of my belongings were delivered in a timely manner to my new apartment and only a few things were broken. Mostly odds and ends and knick knacks but the moving company had a really good policy on filing claims (which I checked out before I chose the company) for broken items and they were more than happy to show me how file my claim with the insurance company.

All in all, I think I had a great experience with my moving company and would recommend Maryland moving companies to family and friends. I found that all you really have to do is a little research and your work will pay off.
